Full Thrust |
4-8 |
| Description |
|
The ESU and NAC are at odds..... Sector 6 is becoming a strategic point
for both sides, and high command has ordered each fleet to take as much
of the sector as possible.
Each side will begin with a fleet, and attempt to take as many systems
as possible. However, this is not 'all or nothing' as new commanders in
the second time slot will take over what is left of your fleet.
The sector will have a number of systems (one important feature per
system) that can be FTL'ed to. As teams explore the systems, conflicts
will be resolved as opposing forces encounter each other.
Rules will be provided for:
FTL movement (recharge, distance that can be travelled, time)
Planetary control (fleets will include transport capability for landing
forces. Mechanic similar to risk will be used to determine ultimate
control)

As the war continued, the Japanese decided it was time to take the
last outskirt stronghold and force the French in to settling for a cease-fire
on their terms. However, neither side was ready for what was about to happen.

| Description |
|
A massive rumble as one side attempts to shatter the defense of the
other. ECM, air assets, medics, artillery, will all meet on this table.
A custom built, fibre optic lighted defensive complex will be the rock
of the defending forces. If you have vehicles with long range weapons
and/or your own force that you wish to bring please do so- the GM
reserves the right to modify or exclude vehicles appearing overgunned
(i.e. twin-class 5 cannons on a light scout frame), and/or trim back
ones forces to make sure the scenario is balanced.

| Description |

An immense, low-frequency underwater "bloop" was detected under
Fromage III's southern icecap. Sensing an opportunity to wangle
some UN grant money, the Limburger Institute for Education sent a
research team, led by Dr Gouda-Nuff McGuffin--to the ice cap in
investigate. This team, although desperately short on supplies,
reported discovering "strange structure, possibly of non-human origin";
as you'd expect, there have been no further reports and attempts to
contact the researchers have proven futile. You have been hired by
one of the Great Houses to locate the reseachers, secure the
supply caches, grab any alien technology--and make sure that none
of the other Great Houses does the same. Good luck, and beware of
the snow sheep....
Carnage con Queso is a "Bring Your Own Squad" game using
StarGrunt II rules plus Special Event cards. Design your squad
using the rules at http://www.stargrunt.ca/scenarios_aar/conqueso5/conqueso5_squads.htm.
The GM will rate each squad for cheesiness and allocate cards
to each player--a lower cheese rating means you get more cards to
compensate. Creative and/or weird squad designs are strongly
encouraged. Contact the GM (laserlight at verizon dot net) with
questions and designs. You get two extra cards if I have your
design by 31DEC; one extra if by 31Jan.

See part one.
Nickel Junction, 1879: "Thank ye' kindly for the drink, feller.
Yessir, as I was a-sayin', it all started with that damned snake oil
saleman - 'Professor Erasmus' he called hisself. I knowed he was
trouble soon as I laid my one good eye on him. But folks'll believe
any old crap ya tell them if'n they're desperate enough - and with
three dry summers in a row, folks 'round town were lookin' fer
miracles wherever they could find 'em. And he had 'em, in colored
bottles, large 'n small. Ointments, salves, creams, and oils - he had
it all, and for every occasion. And there was his "Liniment of
Everlasting Youth" - made from a secret formula used by Egyptian
priests for mummies and I don't know what all else - just a bunch o'
hogwash if you asked me. Or so I thought. We should've run him outta
town when we had the chance."
"We don't get visitors much these days after the troubles of years
past. Call me crazy (and maybe I am fer stickin' round these parts)
but folks of gentler constitutions moved on after dealin' with the
walkin' dead. Those that survived anyways."
Part 2 of a two-part FMA Skirmish zombies game set in the Old West. Setup for
part 2 will depend on the outcome of part 1. You do not need to sign
up for both parts to play in one.
