Time Frame - Between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi

It's a rough time to be a rebel. The Empire's new Super Star Destroyer has really affected setting up any supply routes or bases for the rebellion. And despite the rebellion's best efforts, a second Super Star Destroyer has just left dock for a shakedown cruise.

You are to take your squadron to join an assault on this Super Star Destroyer, to cripple it before all of the glitches in it can be fixed, and if lucky destroy it outright. But it won't be easy. TIE fighters will be defending the Super Star Destroyer, and are sure to make your life miserable.

The rebellion can not afford to have two functional Super Star Destroyers in operation. It is imperative that you succeed.

May the force be with you.

Description
For the last year the Americans forces in North Africa have been laboring under the yoke of British commanders. Finally free to operate independently they now have chance to prove the "colonists" can fight as well, if not better than the Brits...

El Guettar, March 1943. The 1st Infantry Division (Big Red 1) under the command of Major General George S. Patton, Jr. is advancing through the mountainous hills around El Guettar. Field Marshal Rommel had sent the 10th Panzer Division in a counter attack. Caught flat footed by the German forces, American artillery forces are in danger of being overrun. American armor and tank destroyers have been dispatched to reinforce the sector. Will they arrive in time or will the German Panzer Grenadiers overrun them and force their way behind the American lines? Can the green American troops stand up to the elite German Desert Corps?

Come command the opposing forces in this Duel in the Desert.

The game is based on the forthcoming Stargrunt Armored Cavalry Rules.

Zombie Smackdown 9: Break Out!
Complexity Game Master Game Type Players
Introductory Damond Walker Stargrunt 2 4-6
Description
Lieutenant "Snuffy" McGruff surveyed the remains of the company during a break in the march. As XO he always told himself he was prepared to take command but up until three days ago he never felt up to the responsibility. That is when it happened. Riots had broken out across the city and the military was called in. The company's task was to simply back up the civilian police force and to project calm.

Then it turned ugly.

It wasn't a riot at all but an outbreak of some super-bug that turned those souls infected into bloodthirsty killing machines. What at first was a mission to restore calm turned into full containment. McGruff tried to erase the visions etched into his mind during the past three days eyes watering at the horror he had witnessed. These Things could be put down for good but only with a shot to the head.

The company had been ordered back to man a series of positions covering a bridge out of the city. For three days they fought and watched the innocent die under the horrific waves of shambling human wreckage. The orders were firm: Maintain Position! How many people, of all ages, did McGruff see go down during those three days? Hundreds? How many clean survivors died trying to cross that bridge? A hundred? A thousand? McGruff closed his eyes as a tear ran down his bloodstained cheek.

It was only 2 hours ago when the commo man's eyes went wide with horror. "Captain! We've been encircled! 1st and 3rd company aren't responding to comms and we've been ordered to pull back." With that the Captain turned slowly to the XO and said "Snuffy. Get the rest of the boys out. The wounded and I will buy you as much time as we can." Up until 30 minutes ago the LT could still hear the occasional burst of weapons fire to their rear -- the Captain and the wounded buying time. Since then only silence with the wind carrying a hint of a moan as it blew through the trees.

"LT", the acting platoon sergeant whispered, "We have movement. The teams have been deployed and are awaiting orders."

With a sigh that was borne from exhaustion the LT brought himself back to the present. As the moaning became audible the LT looked to his noncom and said, "We will punch out to the north, sergeant."
