|
A fictitious action set during the second Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902.
This action pits the players as the protagonists during the retreat from
Spioenkop, during an attempt to relieve the Ladysmith garrision, in December
1899. Second Lieutenant Pakenham has been ordered by General Warren's staff to
take a section of British infantry in support of a Royal Artillery Maxim gun
squad. The small force has been ordered to get into a commanding position on a
ridge line to cover the British retreat. Unbeknown to the British, a Boer
scout has seen the movements of this small force.....
