Complexity: Introductory
In recent months the FSE has been involved in a number of low intensity
conflicts to protect its colonel interests in systems controlled by small
third line governments.
Though these conflicts are considered low intensity they have extracted
a high cost in men and materials from the FSE. The ammunition based
FSE forces assigned to defend these systems took significant losses to
vastly smaller naval forces using hit and run tactics. With these same
forces concentrating their attacks against supply convoys and supply
depots. These tactics effectively neutralized any of the FSE forces
deployed to these systems.
The loss of materials to small missile boats and gunboats made the
FSE reconsider their tactics in these conflicts, making them draw
heavily upon their escort forces. In the Battle for Depot 191 a
poorly prepared FSE force lost a battle cruiser, two destroyers and
a frigate defending a supply station against a group of missile boats
that were reinforced by two surplus ESU destroyers. This battle was
a turning point in that conflict from which the FSE would never recover.
The effectiveness of these small attack craft against a more
powerful FSE defending force at The Battle for Depot 191 has
prompted the Office of Naval Intelligence to begin a study into
this type of engagement. The NAC high command has also showed
interest in this subject matter and has begun simulation training
to test standard operational doctrine under this type of combat
situation.
The purpose of this simulation is to test the effectiveness of
a standard NAC cruiser squadron in a frequent type of force
deployment. This simulation is very similar to real The Battle
for Depot 191 as it pits a first line state's heavier cruisers
and escorts verses a group of small but deadly attack boats.
All involved in this simulation will get a chance to defend and
attack the fictitious mining facility in this simulation.

UNSC Oceanus Procellarum is one of those rare ships in the UNSC; a
multi-product logistical replenishment ship. One of these ships can
keep several task forces supplied for months, and is key to the power
projection ability of the UNSC.
Oceanus Procellarum has just replenished a UNSC strike on a major
pirate base. The pirates, through luck, have managed to find her
and are itching for revenge. Can the 'Big OP' and her small escort
group hold out until help arrives?

To continue in Mike Sarno's tradition, we will provide Pod Racing
although Mike is absent. Pod Racing uses Full Thrust modified rules to
simulate the pod race as seen in Star Wars Episode I. This event has
been very popular in the previous years and is returning this year for
the enjoyment of the masses.

Complexity: Introductory
After the 14th complaint about disturbing noises,
bright lights, power outages and dead relatives
returning to life, the police finally sent a patrol
out to Dr. Cassiter's mansion/laboratory. When they
never returned, a second patrol was sent. When they
didn't return either, a SWAT team went out. When they
didn't return, the police chief finally called the
UNSC and asked them to send in a squad or two. The
mayor however, had heard some of the stories about
Cassiter's research, and he decided to call in a team
of 'Paranormal Exterminators'. Who will get the job
done and keep the town safe from mad scientists, the
grunts, or the geeks? When there's something strange
in the neighborhood, who are YOU gonna call?
This scenario will use the FMA system (or something
that vaguely resembles it), but no previous experience
is necessary.
