Full Thrust |
Aaron Newman |
6-10 |
| Description |
|
Complexity: Moderate
"This is the EAS supply vessel Persephone to all EF
ships, come and get it boys, we have food, air, and
mail and are now open for business. News of the day is
that General Hague is leading a coup to remove
President Clark from office, his forces have been
engaged at Io earlier today..."
With that message a routine deep space resupply
mission in sector 1618 would devolve into the
bloodiest battle humans had seen since the Minbari
War.
This scenario was inspired by Indy's 'A Call to Arms'
PBeM game. Each captain has his own agenda, and no one
is exactly who they appear. Some familiarity with the
FT or EFSB system is recommended.

| Silverstone: Racing to Ruin |
FMA (Traveller) |
Tom Barclay |
2-8 |
| Description |
|
Complexity: Introductory
Imperial Intelligence has uncovered a Zhodani discovery in the
Prix system. The Zhos seem to have discovered some sort of Ancients'
ruin on asteroid Silverstone. The intercepted communication suggests
they are deploying Special Forces teams to seize and investigate the
Ancients' ruin on the airless asteroid. The 441st Imperial Marine
Commando detachment will be there to contest control of the ruin with
the Zhos.
Pick a side, strap on your Battle Dress, grab your Plasma Gun - whoever
secures the facility first is likely to keep it. It has turned into a
foot race on an airless asteroid.... of course, the other participants
are willing to turn you into a cloud of flash-heated gases... but that
just makes the day interesting! And the Zhos will undoubtedly be using
their parapsychic powers - telepathy, teleportation, telekinesis,
clairvoyance/clairaudience.... but the Imperial Marines CDOs play
for keeps.... big boy games, big boy rules!
"I love the smell of Plasma in the morning." -- Imperial Marine
Commando Col. DeNiro
This scenario will make use of the latest FMAS beta-test rules as
well as any demonstrating the flexibility of the GZG game systems
by implementing the "look and feel" of another game universe using
their systems (in this case, Marc Miller/GDW's Traveller universe).
It also include some house rules extensions for the psionic
Zhodani. :)
