TABLE #1
Game Name Game Type Game Master Players
Misjump On Sol Full Thrust, Vector Damond Walker 6-8
Description
Complexity: Introductory

A mightly Kra'Vak warfleet has misjumped on it's way to Sol. While the error wasn't great it has positioned the war fleet in a section of uncharted space bordering the Human zone. While resetting systems and preparing for the next jump massive gravity distortions have been detected from both ahead and behind the assembled fleet.

The Kra'Vak sensors note the distortion fade as the sensors light up. "Multiple Contacts fore and aft!" growled the sensor operator aboard the Ner'Vach.

Ship after ship shimmered into existence. The unidentified vessels had encircled the war fleet.

Broadcast among most channels was the following simple message in a broken Human tongue "...you are not to be here..."

TABLE #2

After Thrust Full Thrust Dan Blezek 4-6
Description
Complexity: Introductory

Yesterday, Gamma IV was nowhere. That was yesterday...

"Rodger, out", answered Viper. Time to take out that supply depo on Gamma IV. Mission details were sketchy, but Alpha squadron was tasked to launch in atmospheric fighters over the dustball, and take it out. At least they gave him a few stealth fighters. "Military Intelligence, my foot," he thought. This mission was a real gamble, no one knew the strength or quality of the fighter group stationed there. Viper thumbed the afterburners, armed all missiles, and started scanning the skies for defending fighters.

"Gold leader, reporting in." Until yesterday, defending Gamma IV was a cake walk. Then somebody decided it was important. Jester checked his displays yet again, his weary eyes on automatic. 12 hours of combat air patrol was starting to get to even the best of his fighter jocks. Bored pilots riding 12 tons of air to air missiles was not a Good Thing. At least the AAA tank drivers could curl up and take a nap, Jester thought. Just then, every light in the c ockpit came alive. "Gold squad, time to turn and burn!"

AfterThrust uses stardard Full Thrust FB rules, modified for close atmospheric fighter combat, including house rules for air-to-air missiles, tailing, and fighter aces. Novice players welcomed, please choose your callsign before the event.

TABLE #4

The Battle of Gramicci Pass Dirtside II Mark Kochte 6-8
Description
On the Outrim world of Bufera, UNSC Colonial Armed Forces are engaged in a desperate struggle to prevent the ESU from overrunning the planet and taking over the local government. What started as a heavy skirmish has turned into a small-scale war. The Gramicci Pass was one area that bore witness to some of the more interesting battles.

The scenario plays on the "fog of war" concept in that both sides have "sealed orders" and must achieve the objects as outlined in each sides "sealed orders", as well as frustrate the goals of the opposing side if possible. Objectives and missions of either side may not be clear to the opponents. Players must choose either UNSC or ESU when signing up. Team commanders need to be chosen by the end of the Saturday morning session and must see me to receive their sealed orders. They will then have the rest of the afternoon to quietly mull over their tactics and discuss battle strategy with the teammates.
