As war rages, even the most far-flung systems are not safe from the
horrors of war. A pitched land battle as been going on at Port
Matilda for months now with both sides taking heavy casualties and up
until now the space around this small desert world have been quiet.
Now during an electromagnetic storm near the second moon a desperate
and bloody engagement is about to occur. The victor may be able to
turn the tide for the battle of this remote and barren world.
This scenario will use FT, MT and fleet book rules, with
special rules for environmental effects from the storm as well
as a number of house rules including double threshold
failures, damage assessment and estimated ranging.

in fact colony ships loaded with hundreds of frozen colonists in
cold sleep. Instead of waking to find themselves at their new
home the poor sods will now wake to find themselves slaves, or
worse... snacks.

Complexity: Moderate
The Terminator Mk X surveyed the urban wreckage several miles north of the
underground facility where it's predecessor had been destroyed. The unit felt
no anger, no excitement, no nothing. Even when its thermal imaging sensors
detected the heat signature of humans, it expressed no joy, no eagerness. The
unit simply reported to the Skynet mainframe that it had found it's quarry.
John Connor was here.
This is an FMA scenario for 3-6 players, who will command humanity's last
defenders, or the machines sent to terminate them.... Some experience with FMA
or SGII is recommended.

| Description |
|
Complexity: Introductory
Sergeant Miles checked the electronics one last time. He looked at the
numbers scrolling across his monitor. "Fire it up!" The giant capacitors
started humming next to him, rather alarmingly loud he thought. A saucer
came down in sector 12, and the Greys had already infected most of the
populace. The experimental weapon was supposed to do something to zombie
brains -- some scientific mumbo jumbo involving microwaves and synapses or
something. He didn't care, as long as it kept him from getting
cannibalized. Of course, if the "field test" took too long, he could add
vaporization by a nice big Air Force bomb to his list of worries.
The agent re-read the briefs in the moments before arriving in sector 12.
Downed saucer, alien tech, flesh-eating zombie hordes, and experimental
U.S. Army weapons. He straightened his tie and checked his watch. Piece
of cake.
Second of two thematically related scenarios. You do not have to sign up
for both to play in one. Beginners welcome.
