TABLE #1

Ambush in the Bremen Corridor Full Thrust Dan Blezek 2-6
Description
Complexity: Moderate

Conditions at the siege and blockade of the Fountaunig system have deteriorated and supplies and fresh troops are needed to hold out against the Eurasian onslaught. In response to the ground fortress' distress calls, a Neu Swabian League naval task force has been directed to resupply and reinforce the fortress and harass the blockading naval groups.

Eurasian Forces Are Determined To Maintain The Siege And Blockade And Have Prepared A Strike Force To Disrupt The NSL's Resupply Efforts.

TABLE #2
Game Name Game Type Game Master Players
The Last Stand of the Homonovus EFSB Aaron Newman 4-6
Description
Complexity: Introductory

The Homonovus was the largest starship ever built. The pride of the Centauri Navy, at the height of the empire, even the Centauri have never built another ship like it. In the decades since, technology has passed the Homonovus by. The weapons array of the smaller Primus class Battlecruisers are more formidable, and many of the Homonovus' own systems are obsolete. Out of nostalgia for their once-great empire, the Centauri Navy has keep the Homonovus commissioned, though it never breaks orbit from its final station at Coutor where it has become more a museum than an active part of the defense network.

Three months into the second Narn-Centauri War, things are not going well for the Narn. But in the Homonovus, an operational warship, at a lightly guarded colony at the edge of Centauri space, they see an opportunity. How demoralizing it will be for the Centauri to see their beloved dreadnought come back to Centauri Prime, at the head of a Narn fleet!

This is an EFSB scenario for 4-6 players (familiarity with EFSB or FT is recommended, but not required).

Battle of Durango Dirtside II Mark Kochte 4-6
Description
Complexity: Introductory to Moderate

The year is 2055. The Second Seccessionist War, America's Second Civil War, has been raging for 5 long and bloody years. It wasn't just a North-South thing at this point; every armed group of red-neck militia who were disgruntled with the way the American Government had been handling things for decades joined in to combat the provisional Military Government, which took over soon after the assassination of President Amy Koslowski.

The city of Durango, Colorado, had a long history of being a "gun-toting redneck" kind of town, and soon became one of the central staging areas and headquarters for various anti-government militia during the Second Civil War. The groups that controlled Durango had acquired the firepower to keep it for a long time. The Provisional Military Government knew Durango was going to be a key city in case the League of Latin American Republics decided to capitalize on the confusion in the aftermath of this civil war and invade the SouthWest. Thus units from said provisional Military Government, along with combat forces from both the British and the Canadians, set up a three-pronged attack. A Canadian stop-gap force consisting of a heavy infantry brigade and two companies of light armour were air-lifted into Cortez and moved swiftly to take Mancos, hold up the pass from any relief units that might come out of Durango, and seize all avenues of escape from Durango to the west/southwest via Rtes 160 or 140. A larger force had painstakingly moved westward across Rte 160 after staging in Pagoda Springs, and was meant to draw off as much of the main combat units defending Durango as possible. This would allow the smaller, faster, third armoured force to rush in on Rte 550 from Ouray, through the passes on either side of Silverton, and dash down into Durango from the lightly-defended north, seizing the city with swift and decisive action.

Alas, reality did not always match up very well with the best-laid plans...
