Personal EssaysA former professor of mine once refered to the WWW as a type of sanctioned electronic voyeurism. I suppose this is my small, minute contribution to the tangled mess the WWW is today.I don't know why I put these rants up here; I doubt anybody other than a few of my friends will take the time to read them. Maybe its a type of electronic catharsis. Or maybe I get a thrill about revealing opinions to other people. Sounds like voyeurism indeed. Most likely, its some twisted combination of both. There's also the growth facor -- reading carefully, one can see how much I've changed in certain areas, and how I've stayed the same in others. I've started a new series of essays: The Warpfish Chronicles. It'll be interesting to see how far I get in maintaining this one. For something a little quicker to read, try Warpfish Stories
My favourite poetry...

Keirsey Temperament TestPeople have asked me what my Temperament is. I've taken several different versions of the test several times over the past couple of years, and I keep bouncing back and forth between INTP and INFP, with the P occasionally a borderline call. I guess the composite would be along the lines of INXP, with the appropriate subtraits, depending on time of day and all that stuff. The funny thing is, I can usually fake being an extrovert, until something comes up or I get tired, and then I disappear into my shell. It's a real bummer at parties. (8-( Take a look at: The Keirsey Temperament Sorter.

Nerdity TestFor the first time in my life, I took the test and my score dropped: I'm now at 63.6%. (August 3rd, 2002).My highest score ever was 65.4%, when I did the test sometime in early 2001. The difference is that I'm finally starting to forget all the higher mathematics that I don't use anymore. What do you score? |
