1. People on the GO bus who hog both seats, even when every other seat is filled. Now, I can understand if you've had a bad day, and, just this once, you don't want to sit besides somebody. But I refuse to believe everybody on that bus had a bad day.
For the sake of common courtesy, move over!
2. People who talk about things they obviously know nothing about. I recently was bombarded by somebody who was slamming the United States over the current situation in the South China Sea, (concering the forced landing of a US spy plane on a Chinese held island.) It was rather obvious that the person knew nothing of history, international relations, or the military -- all the person had heard were the words "United States", and out came the condemnation.
I'm sorry to say I lost it. I gave her a five minute quick lesson on international relations. I talked to her about the South China Sea, politics, the capabilities of the EP-3 aircraft, freedom of navigation, and a whole host of other things. By the end of it, there was nothing but shock on the person's face, as how would I dare use knowledge to counter that person's ignorance.
If you don't know, and offer an opinion, you're opening yourself up to be slapped down, and you deserve it. (I've been slapped down myself, and deservedly so.)
3. People who think that they have special privileges, because they obviously know better than everybody else and are indispensible. Get over yourselves, people -- all you're probably doing is proving to everybody how arrogant you can be.
That's all.
Hmmmm. I feel a little better. (8-)
