Observations

What is/are Observations?

Observations was a column that I wrote from the summer of 1991, til about 1997 or so. It's been written for two different (extremely different) organizations; my first set were written for Intraship Communications , the newsletter for the Star Trek Fan Club USS Farpoint, based out of Windsor, Ontario.

The second and more numerous bunch of columns were written for Synopsis, the newsletter for the South-western Ontario PYPS.

Observations is a look at people, places and things. My opinions, my ideas, my sentiment. Sometimes crazy, sometimes controversial, always things that I believe in. Some of this is just my heart out on my sleeve, some of it is just pure garbage, and some of it is actually meaningful.

However, if I even get one person to look at the world in a slightly different way because of these, then I've succeeded in my aim.

Some of these were never published; this is the first time most people have had a chance to look at them.

The Archives Themselves

Observations from Intraship Communcations:

Note: These are just working titles; columns in the IsC didn't have titles attached to them. These early ones also referred a lot to the fan club; don't expect to get all the jokes. (8-)

Observations from and for Synopsis:

The Evil Legal Stuff: The above are (c)1991 to 1997, by Jerry Han. You can use them as long as a) no money is charged for your newsletter other than a nominal fee for copying and b) I retain credit.

Basically, I don't know why anybody else would want to reprint them, but be nice about it, let me know, and don't make any money off of it. (8-)

Thanks.
