12/23/2004: "today's word is "snow""
As you may know from first-hand experience, or heard about on the news, a good chunk of the Easter part of North America got snow last night and today. Lots of it. After seeing what others had to deal with on the news tonight, I'm glad we got off as easy as we did, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's been a cakewalk. I got to shovel to day - twice. And the plow still hasn't come down our crescent, which means I'll be shoveling a 3rd time sometime tomorrow, likely.
Other than shoveling (and sweating) a lot today, we did Christmas grocery shopping, and received absolutely no news about where I'm going to be working. Sigh. Maybe Santa will come early tomorrow - perhaps before noon - and I'll know one way or the other. If so, I'll let you know. Otherwise, have a Merry Christmas, and I'll catch you all after Boxing Day.
Happy sugarplum dreams to all!
