06/17/2004: "war crimes?"

I've been loosely following the goings-on in Iraq as pertains to the US side of the invasion. Well, today I just read this article about how the US has admitted to breaking the Geneva Convention's Treatment of Prisoners of War.

So can we finally get on with it and start prosecuting G.W. Bush as a war criminal? Or should we wait and see if the American people slap him down in the upcoming November election?
