Even after implementing the comment verification, I'm getting unwanted comments from those simply seeking to boost their Google ranking. Well, I've got one thus far, but it's proven that no system is infalliable. I'm going to take a wait-and-see approach to this, but at the same time I'm going to plan for the worst - a full move of Not From Toronto.
The two big blogging sites I know are Blogger and LiveJournal. If you know of more, please let me know. I'm looking for a site that won't make it obvious that I'm using that service (other than the URL, of course). In other words, I want to be able to customize the look and feel of all pages, and not have to deal with any service-mandated page header, if I can get away with it.
Ideas?

One other thing we can try, and I forgot to mention this in the email -- we can change your home on Warpfish. Depending on where you link it from, and depending on how often the spam engines index that part of the web, it could be quite a while before they find you again. I'll also change some of the key/value pairs, so that spam scripts won't know what to automatically enter.
None of this will stop manual spam though...

Hey Andrew,
Okay, I've adjusted one of the fields so that it's no longer default GreyMatter. That means, if somebody wants to use auto spam, they have to edit their program to attack this variant of GM.
I've also reduced the number of permissible links down to three. And, while in there, I increased the width of this box to 40 columns. (8-)
We'll see how long this holds...

Bravo, Jerry. Once again, above and beyond the call of duty. In all seriousness, what brand of scotch do you drink? Or will any single malt road tar do? ;) Let's see what happens now!
